Intellectual Property & Counterfeit Reporting

1. Our position
Nexvend respects intellectual property rights and does not tolerate counterfeit goods, misrepresented items, stolen property, or unauthorised use of third-party brands. Nexvend is a marketplace intermediary — vendors warrant ownership and authenticity of every item they list.
2. What you can report
- Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised reproductions.
- Misrepresented items (condition, authenticity, completeness).
- Suspected stolen property.
- Trademark or copyright infringement (including unauthorised brand imagery).
- Patent infringement.
- Ownership disputes over specific items.
3. How to report
Open a ticket on the Contact page and choose Report a Product or Report a Vendor. Include:
- The listing URL or vendor URL.
- A short description of the issue.
- For IP holders: the right being asserted (trademark name and class, copyright work, patent number) and proof of ownership or authority to act.
- Any supporting evidence (photos, prior listings, official references).

- Identity of the rights holder and authorised contact.
- Description of the right (trademark, copyright, patent, design).
- Identification of the infringing listing(s) by URL.
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised.
- A statement, under penalty of misrepresentation, that the information is accurate.
5. Our actions on a credible report
- Remove or restrict the listing.
- Notify the vendor and request response/evidence.
- Hold pending payouts on affected orders.
- Suspend the vendor for repeat or egregious violations.
- Refund affected buyers under the Returns & Refunds Policy.
- Cooperate with Kuwaiti authorities where required.
6. Counter-notice
A vendor whose listing was removed may respond with ownership evidence (invoices, authorised-distributor letters, original certificates). Nexvend may reinstate listings where the response satisfies our review.
7. False or abusive reports
Knowingly false reports may result in account restriction and may expose the reporter to liability under Kuwaiti law.
